What guests actually search for on Airbnb, and where TVs rank

Airbnb’s own 2025 search data puts TV or cable ninth. Here is what that means for your listing.

It is easy to repeat what sounds true about amenity filters. Here is what Airbnb itself publishes.

Airbnb’s own list

Airbnb’s Resource Center lists the amenities guests search for most often, based on internal data for 1 January to 31 December 2025. In order, it lists:

Pool
Free parking
Wifi
Air conditioning or heating
Kitchen
Hot tub
Washer or dryer
Self check-in
TV or cable
BBQ grill

What is not on it

Streaming is not on that list, and we found no “free streaming” filter in Airbnb’s standard amenity filters, which show TV under Entertainment. A claim that streaming is the second most popular filter is not supported by this data.

What to do with it

List “TV” as an amenity so you appear in that filter
Put the casting detail in the description, where guests read it
Do not claim rankings you cannot source
